A grand Scottish Hotel on the Deeside Road. Very popular with overseas tourists. We had a large, well furnished room & a great bathroom with a gorgeous jacuzzi bath. Breakfasts & dinners we're excellent alough the dining room closed for 1 night. Experienced & efficient staff plus a friendly manager. It's well placed for a good driving tour of the area. There's a path in the woods opposite for walking or mountain biking. Would happily stay again.

I did not stay at this location but used the restaurant bank holiday Monday. Though it was very expensive but it was a fantastic menu and the food was delicious and staff were attentive. I had the chicken and haggis great presentation. Had coffee in the lounge and a few drinks before heading out. I did find it very very quite and a bit devoid of atmosphere in there. Decor very dark too. Pricey but tasty. (£40 for 2 courses 2 double whiskys for £28)

Charming step back in time – with some trade-offs Walking into this hotel feels like stepping 50 years back in time — and we actually loved that! Of course, you have to be a fan of that nostalgic atmosphere, and it may not be for everyone. But in this landscape, it fits beautifully. The first room we were assigned was very small, with a tiny bed of poor quality. After mentioning this, we were offered a larger room with a better bed for an additional fee — which we really appreciated. Well done! Breakfast had limited options, but what was available was tasty. The coffee wasn't quite what we're used to, but that seemed to be the case throughout Scotland. We ended up having dinner three times at the hotel, and the food was delicious every time! The staff was incredibly friendly and easy-going, which made the stay all the more pleasant. One small downside: no price list was available for the drinks, which we found a bit inconvenient. In short: This hotel is definitely worth recommending — but we’re not entirely sure we’d return, mainly due to the basic room quality. Perhaps the lodges could be a better option? Though we're unsure if those are available for just two guests...

I loved our stay. The rooms are gorgeous as is the rest of the hotel. It was very welcoming and the staff lovely. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the rooms are not serviced, we used our coffee in our room on the first morning of our stay and clean cups and more coffee was not provided. We also had to go and take a toilet roll from the communal bathroom in the middle of the night for the same reason. We had to ask for more butter at the breakfast table 2 or 3 times every morning for the 5 of us as the little ramekin provided only buttered 2 pieces of toast at a push. These are only little nitpicking annoyances though. The food was utterly delicious and absolutely beautifully prepared. The walk to the Loch is short but lovely and you can easily get to 2 ski slopes from the hotel, it's a stunning drive. I would recommend a stay there and if I have the opportunity I will definitely stay again

I had the pleasure of attending a meeting earlier this week at Kinord Hotel and Restaurant, and I must say, the experience was truly memorable! We were hosted in a cozy, wooden vintage place that added a charming touch to our gathering. Upon arrival, we were greeted with nice coffee that set the tone for the day. For lunch, we enjoyed a set dish featuring club sandwiches accompanied by a hot, creamy lentil soup. Both were absolutely delightful! While the meeting went well, it was the exceptional hospitality at Kinord that truly made the experience memorable. The combination of great food, cozy surroundings prefect for a Deeside walks, and excellent service makes it a standout choice. I look forward to my next visit for a meal or overstaying in one of their bungalow shaped rooms!
